ADULT STORYTELLING NIGHT (Christmas Edition)
December 19, 2019 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$50The 3rd instalment of The Carib’s new Adult Storytelling Night returns on Thursday December 19th. Open to novice and seasoned writers, readers, comics, storytellers and anyone a fan of words and story, this series offers up a new theme each time which presenters are asked to interpret in their own way via a live reading of any material, including: short stories, plays, poems, monologues, comedy sketches, essays, diary entries, articles and written rants and reflections.
In keeping with the season, this edition’s theme surrounds Christmas stories – shorter days, colder climes, charity and the gift of giving, memorable holidays or Christmas dinner parties gone awry, tales from around the Yuletide tree, the naughty, the nice and anything in between. A total of 12 readers (5-7 mins each) present in each edition.
Those interested in sharing their tale can write in to littlecarib@gmail.com to get listed. You do not have to present your work in advance – just bring it on the evening. That being said, registration is essential and must be done before Friday, December 6th (first come first serve).
ENTRY ON THE DOOR – $50
DOORS/BAR OPENS 7PM (and closes 11pm)
READINGS COMMENCE 8PM (and end 10pm, with 15 min intermission)
